I listened to your college podcast. My comment is that just eating fruit and not a balance of carbs and protein will raise blood sugar and not sustain the student for very long when blood sugar drops. A better choice would be fruit and nuts or fruit and cheese which is a blanced snack. The idea is always to eat a balance of carbs protein and fats at every meal including snacks to maintain blood sugar levels all day. I have a degree in dietetics.
