A friend of mine made this soup today and noticed that there are some errors in the printed ingredients. The amount of carrots listed is 6 cups, but in parenthesis it says it is about 1-8″ carrot. Obviously an 8″ carrot does not amount to 6 cups. The same is true of the onion. The recipe says 6 cups of onions and in parenthesis it says about one medium onion ( which does not equal 6 cups.) A cup of onions and a cup of carrots is probably the correct amount.
