I LOVE your podcasts! Hooray!
There is lots of good information here, including some I didn’t already know, and I love how positive and healthy the advice given is. I’m a daily Whole Foods shopper and I’ll be picking up some Alpha Lipoic Acid this afternoon – thanks for the reminder!
January 8th, 2008 at 8:25 am
Another informative podcast! I have never heard that cinnamon or turmeric are thermogenic. That means more whole grain toast with cinnamon on it and more curry for me lol. Looking forward to the next podcasts in this series!! Thanks again

Interesting breakdown on all the weight loss “buzzwords” you see bandied about… thanks!
January 8th, 2008 at 10:09 am
I was directed through mom*mom blog spot to your site and I am so glad she led me to your site. I found this pod cast extremely helpful as I have tried every diet in the book, healthy and otherwise, and have finally resigned myself to figuring out how to lose weight the healthy and holistic way. Thanks for the advice. I will definitely frequent your site from now on!

I often forget how important it is to stay hydrated and this has reminded me again that it is vital to my success. I will also be stopping by to pick up some Alpha Lipoic Acid this week.
I am so looking forward to the next in the series.

I’ve always been on the lookout for the fiber content in foods! I was also encouraged to hear about the benefits of Dandelion Root…someone gave me some tea with it in it and this makes me want to drink it!

I too was directed to your site by a link to ModMom. I am so glad. As a regular Wholefoods shopper, many come to me for advice onthe best organic and wholesome products and i direct them to your store. Having this podcast is such an added plus, as now i can direct them to listen and learn before making their shopping selections. All too often shoppers go to the market and do splurge shopping, having forgotten their lists at home.
I love that in this podcst you focussed on the importance of hydration, along with maintaining a healthy digestive and metabolic system.
So many times we try to lose weight and end up either sick or gaining it right back. instead, if we concentrate on feeding our bodies what they need to be healthy, weight will eventually get to where its supposed to be. You have done a great job in connecting the nutritional councel along with the revving up your metabolism advice. Up the water, add the turmeric( I use it daily along with curry on almost everything too), walk, and aff your soluable fiber. Once again Wholefoods, THANK YOU for a great job!
Looking forward to all your podcasts.

I recently purchased some probiotics, and they’re amazing. They made me feel so much better and felt like food was just digesting through a lot smoother. I lost weight for the first time in a year. Thanks!
January 29th, 2008 at 11:25 am
I am such a big fan of Whole Foods (we are gluten-free!!) and am thrilled you have podcasts. I had no idea that you even had a blog!
I liked this first one, the ’skinny on weight’. I’ve been trying to loose weight, unsuccessfully, and this gave me some good information to talk about with my Doc.
Looking forward to listening to the rest as they come out!

I learned so much from this podcast. I had no idea there were foods or other things (like the dandelion root) that were good for flushing fats. At least I am doing one thing right by getting enough sleep. Changing my food choices to develop a healthier lifestyle might be a bigger hurdle.

I’m trying to lose weight (again) this year, and need all the help I can get. It’s great to hear from experts, as I obviously need to relearn how to feed myself! I’m going to look into probiotics supplements. Thanks for the blog!

The ONLY negative I have is that the intro was a bit long at 50 seconds.

I really enjoyed this podcast because it not only told me what to eat to help lose weight but also WHY it helps you lose weight. I already knew that fiber and probiotics were important but what I didn’t know is that they help aid in digestion which is crucial for weight loss. This is wonderful to have these podcasts available to consumers. I love your stores and now that I have found your podcasts, I really appreciate you a whole lot more!
January 30th, 2008 at 12:46 pm
