I am looking for a natural insect repellant that I can use on my body. Citronella has been suggested unless there is an allergy to aspirin. Is is effective and are there others?

i use peppermint leafs with salt, i chew them for upset stomach…. baking soda mixed with water for heartburn, works better than zantac!!!

Insect repellents and DEET? Can you offer a natural remedy? We are off to Thailand with two children ages 2 1/2 and 5 yrs old and want to protect against mosquitoes. we will be in non-malaria areas.
