I really like the newly revamped blog! I'm a happy Whole Foods shopper, and glad I can leave feedback. The new Napa store is excellent! The team members are friendly and helpful. It's wonderful to be able to buy a lot of local products (the Raw Foods from Novato,Alive&Radiant from Berkeley, chicken from Petaluma) Keep up the good work-and considering these tight times, good prices!

Marla, I took your advice and went to my local store and they just said we do not carry those products. Then I see that your stuff comes from China. What happened to support the local companies. You folks are really talking out of both sides of your mouth. Florida Crystals Sugar is 100% Carbon Free and local and you have to search the shelves to find it. All you guys have is the imported stuff. Very dissapointing.

@Jennifer: If you use an RSS reader, or an aggregator page such as iGoogle, you can also subscribe to only the green action posts by pasting this address in your reader: http://blog.wholefoodsmarket.com/category/green-action/feed/. Thanks for your comment!

Freddie: Marla from Whole Foods Market here. Thanks for your question. Yes, we offer ice to help you keep your frozen items cold on the way home. By the way, did you know every Whole Foods Market store has its own web page, including contact info so you can call or email your local store? Find yours here: http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/stores/list_stores.php

I had a question about the cashier I had packing my groceries. As she was scanning my items, I believe she asked me if I wanted any "ice". I responded "no", but thought it was an odd question. I purchased some fruit and frozen fish, so Im assuming she was asking if I needed ice to keep the food cold? Does Whole Foods provide some kind of "ice" to keep the foods cold for the drive home?

Hey Jennifer, thanks for the heads up about wanting to separate the recipes and other stuff from the green tips. You can definitely do that. Look on the right hand side of the screen and you'll see a box with tabs at the top for "recent posts," "categories" and "archives." Click on the "categories" tab. When that opens, simply click on "green action." The blog will then show you only the posts that have anything to do with green stuff. Let me know how that works for you!

Can Whole Foods segregate the recipes from the other information on this blog? Historically, this blog has been focused on green tips and discussions, and unless the recipes highlight ways to shop, prepare, and dispose of foods in an environmentally friendly manner, it it seems like the recipes belong in a separate place. I've really enjoyed reading this blog over the last year because it's a central resource for like minded people to share green information. I hope it does not turn into a marketing tool. I realize that Whole Foods is a business, which needs to make a profit, but I hope you won't lose what's great about this blog.

Nice to hav a place to express how we feel about your stores. Why can I not find the Cascadian Frozen products in your stores. Same goes for the Horizon Milk. It just bothers me that I have to go to a Supermarket (Publix) to find the products that I've bought for years.
