Fresh corn – especially corn eaten right off the cob – just screams “summer” for me. On this podcast, I talked with produce expert James Parker to find out about the different varieties of corn, how to pick the best and how to cook those yummy ears. Of course, how you eat your corn on the cob is a personal choice – do you eat horizontally across the cob or bite around the cob in a circular pattern? Listen in and share your corn thoughts.

Is the corn on the cob at Whole Foods in the produce section genetically modified?

@Tim We never knowingly sell GMO produce. We work with our national growers to confirm that they do not use GMO or “Round Up Ready” seed. Local supply is more difficult to confirm and drift is an uncontrollable issue. Please know that while we are continually working to assess and improve our processes, choosing organic when possible remains the best way to avoid GMOs.
