Oh my gosh1 That is exactly what my mother used to do to my hair when I was in my pre-teeens! She would spray "No more tears" detangler on it and some Dippity Doo and twist it , all over, and sit me on our front porch as the sun set over our Southern CA. home , til it dried. My dog as my companon. She did this for years, everyone loved my hair, even the hairdressers complemented me. Maybe I should go back to basics!

I am an African-American woman that's looking for a salon that colors with henna. I have all-natural hair and my friends told me to consider henna for my curls. I am looking for a hair salon in Philadelphia; any suggestions?

Real henna body art will not damage hair or have hair color bleed. It's natural and you mix it with Lime or fruit juice

i will have to try avocado..definitely. I really wish you could maybe do a podcast on just hair coloring. I want to try henna but i'm worried about the outcome, reactions t using hair henna sound negative but i hear if you use body henna it works well. I just want an alternative i'm done using chemicals in my hair!

I also have to elaborate on the use of avocado, for century avocado has been a great skin care. In my country the old folks used avocado (or pear) to treat many skin ailments for acne to eczema. Great to see spa's are using this natural wonder

I agree that chemical treatments can be brutal. I once had a treatment and basically ended up with a 2nd degree burn.
