i love nothing better than a cold glass of a good milk. here in the Baton Rouge Whole Foods market we are offered Smith’s Creamery milk and butter. Smith’s is a really good quality product. i’d love to comparison test Smith’s against Sparkman’s. and i won’t move to Georgia to satisfy my craving.

Yay for cornstarch containers! From what I understand, you can’t put hot things in them, but for everything else, they’re great and biodegrade quickly. Anyone know of other brands that use them?

I’m in North Carolina, having relocated from Louisiana - and I have to agree. Smith’s Creamery was amazing. We sure do miss it. Sadly, we also don’t have a Whole Foods just down the street as we did back home. I remember a local grocer who also carried Smith’s products, used to sell out so quickly. Those were, as another commercial likes to claim, “some Happy Cows.”

If Sparkman’s Cream Valley is on the shelf, there is no decision about what to buy. This is by far the BEST milk available anywhere. Exellent butter as well.

Sparkman’s skim milk tastes like most brand’s whole milk! It stays fresh far beyond the date on the carton. It is now available in gallons. I understand it goes from cow to carton in only minutes.
