Greetings All!
Many of you have noticed our new website. (Those of you getting the Whole Story via RSS, come check it out!) I say it’s “our” website, but we made it for you. Some of the things you can do are:
- find great recipes, which now include ratings and reviews from customers and Team Members
- discover what’s happening in your local store, from specials (bottom left corner of your store page) to events (the calendar at the top right of your store page)
- learn from the forums, with conversations on everything from green practices to special diets (gluten free, casein free, etc.)
And if the Whole Story and new website still aren’t enough for you, you can always follow us on Twitter and Facebook!
We’re going to keep working to meet your needs, so let us know what you like and what you don’t.
Enjoy!

The new redesigned WFM website is really very nice and pleasing to the the eyes. There are lot of informations (from blogging to cooking)and I enjoy it very much. The section on food recipes I believe is better than Food Network. I am team member from Potrero Hill store and keep telling my co-team members as well as our customers to check out the new website.

I love the new site. It’s a web based book. It’s feels like an inviting Table of Contents. It seems everything is easy to locate and navigate. I really appreciate everyone that assisted in bringing this update to fruition. Thanks. Peace!!

The new website does not make available the size of the stores.
Sq footage listing was the only identifier for large stores with many departments the restaurants and bakeries are not clearly identied in each store. I visit diiferent wholefoods in my area that I live at in Maryland just for the different departments.

@elaine Thanks for the suggestion. We’re always looking for new ways to serve our customers, but currently online shopping is not in the plans. However, you can check out our list of stores in development (stores planned for the next couple of years) to see if we’re opening up one a bit closer to you: http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/stores/newstores.php.

Ditto the request for online shopping. I work full time and have two small children, so getting to the store is harder than you might think, even though there is a Whole Foods about 1 mile from my house. I will continue shopping online at New Seasons until you offer online shopping…
Thanks, Michelle

Nice looking fl@vors e-newsletter but I really miss the codes for special diets i.e. GF, DF, etc.
It’s important to me that you continue using these codes AND providing recipes tailored to my interests.
Thanks!

I love your website and would like to enjoy your store as well. I live in Norhtwest Indiana very close to your distribution center in Munster. It is frustrating to see the trucks driving by all the time when the closest store is roughly 30 miles away. I have kept an eye on the stores under construction but do not see any plans for a store anywhere in this area yet. I think that a store in this area would do extremely well considering there is nothing else in the area besides a few very small stores with very limited selection. It is good to see a company that strives so hard to change the lack of education in this country concerning healthy living.

@Dave Hi there! Thanks for your kind words about our new website and our stores. If you’re interested in requesting a new store location, please email newstore.requests@wholefoods.com. We collect customer feedback when considering new stores, but our current plan for the next couple of years can be found here: http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/stores/newstores.php.

Another online shopping request. If you look at how successful other stores are with the online shopping service that they provide, you might change your idea?
You have all the price data and creating/maintaining a website won’t cost that much.
Please think about it seriously.
