We recently challenged some of the best food bloggers out there to a recipe contest. Make a weeknight meal for 4 for less than $4 per serving. Entries came in from chefs of all kinds – cookbook authors, vegans, college students, stay-at-home moms, engineers and we had to narrow a large pool down to our favorite six. But even our runner up recipes were pretty awesome and we thought we’d share with you some of our favorites that didn’t make the cut…

I read “Living the Justopian life” daily and love the recipes posted by the author. Also, you can watch a live demonstration on her web site (www.justopia.com) with live feedback 5 nights a week. I highly recommend checking it out!

@Jane M All our eligible entries won gift cards just for entering, so everyone walked away with a little something for their efforts.

Apron Adventures has actually inspired some of my cooking. I’m glad others are recognizing the talent behind its author. Keep up the great work!
