Hi!

I love kalamata olives, but am wondering about a recent jar of them. The most distinctive tast of this batch is fermented. I am wondering if I should return them to the store. They do not tast like all the good olives I have enjoyed for several years. Please advise me.

Thank you,

We are very lucky to own a property in Puglia, south eastern Italy. There are 90 ancient olive trees that produce the most exquisite extra virgin olive oil (organic), it is truely a blessing to have such wonderful olive oil, we use it to cook with, for dressings and we make our own organic soaps for the guests that come to stay at our unique 'eco friendly' Villa.

Olive oil is important for a healthy mediterranean diet, and we call it our 'liquid gold'. It is believed that the 1st Olive trees in Italy were introduced by the Greeks...thousands of years ago. So keep up the good work with the Kalamata Olives!
