The recipe looks good. The demonstrator was easy to understand. HOWEVER, i dont think i would care to eat anything that he made after he tasted it using his cooking spoon and then placed that spoon back into the pot of what he was cooking. Truly unappealing both aesthetically and healthwise.

This recipe is absolutely delicious! I also added some red onions and mushrooms. I never made a homemade pizza sauce before. I am definitely not going back to jar sauces.

Just tried this tonight and got a thumbs up from my husband. We will definitely make this again. We're thinking of doing this for game nights...having the sauce and naan ready and bowls of toppings so our friends can pick and choose...5 min later you have an awesome personal pizza!

Why spend 45 minutes making sauce and then use pre-cooked bread. I like naan as much as the next person, but take an extra 10 minutes and use raw dough (which you can also buy at Whole Foods). The finished product will be much better.

Or alternately, just used jarred sauce and make a quick pizza.

I substituted the 365 Naan for a pita pizza recipe in Whole Deal 2008. It's a great pizza base and a little sturdier. Much tastier.

I have been using the 365 Naan varieties for pizza for some time now. Just absolutely perfect when I'm in the mood for one variety and hubby's in the mood for another. Some other naan pizza ideas: Garlic naan topped 365 shredded cheddar jack cheese & Whole Foods freshly made Salsa Fresca; plain naan with olive tapenade spread and topped with fresh mozzarella or feta; any naan flavor with mozzarella, sun dried tomatoes, fresh herbs & drizzled with a tasty extra virgin olive oil or balsamic vinegar. The possibilities are endless!

I love naan, so I'll probably try this. But I wanted to see the chef get the two pizzas off the peel and onto the baking stone.

Whaaat?!! Did he put the same spoon he just tasted the sauce with, back into the pot? Yucky. Granted, he may be cooking solely for himself - I surely hope so - but really, this is NOT a good hygiene habit!

Otherwise it looks like a nice fast recipe and an interesting way to make a pizza.
