I made a fab, delicious lunch recently that I posted on my blog, Market to Mouth. Basically it's a warm Turkey, Apple, Spinach and Walnut salad:
1) Saute a chopped apple in a saucepan with some butter.
2) Toss in a handful of thawed, frozen spinach or washed, fresh red chard, add a little more butter to moisten the greens.
3) Add baked, cubed turkey or chicken.
4) Toss altogether and serve in a bowl topped with walnuts.

Is "Got a best meal of the week?" an ongoing part of the Whole Deal Newsletter? I've never noticed it before, but I'd LOVE to keep these ideas and know they're coming on a bi-weekly basis! I'm often food-inspired by what I see and smell in the WF produce section to make a quick/easy/healthy dinner, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Many of us who have learned to love watching chefs on TV have been turned on to food in a joyful and creative way, and WF really feeds that joy.

My favorite meal of the week is on my personal blog. It is a Creamy Potato Miso Soup that is smooth rich like a chowder, but is completely dairy-free. It comes out beautifully every time and the miso adds a wonderfully unique flavor. I pair it with crumbled won ton crisps or crusty bread for a very filling, yet healthy meal. I recommend organic potatoes, since they are high on the pesticide list - http://www.onefrugalfoodie.com/2009/02/12/creamy-potato-miso-soup/
