I have to admit, this was the first podcast I have listened to from your site but it won’t be the last. It was very well done and was full of useful info. I appreciated that it wasn’t too long in length nor was it slow to download. I am just getting my feet wet in the “organic foods sea” and I think your website will help me to learn and apply! Thank you!!

I love that the premium body care products are labeled at Whole Foods so they are easy to spot as the most natural options. I’ll be looking out for those.
It’s also helpful to know how to dilute essential oils. Thanks!

I never thought about how the things I put ON my body could effect my baby! I’ve already had my son, but I wish I had known about this stuff while I was pregnant!
Thanks for the great information, I’ll definitely be back to hear more!

I agree with others here, and your info. Approach this subject thinking “what goes on the body” goes in the body, is a great M.O.
Thanks for the great coverage.

Thanks for the great coverage of this topic. I love your food products, but haven’t checked out the baby/pregnancy products. I will do so soon! Looking forward to listening to more of your podcasts too.

I love how short they are – perfect for a quick listen with little ones in the house! Wish I would have thought of essential oil massage when I was pregnant with my twins!

Ginger has so much medicinal power. My 9 Year old has a cold this morning and she drinks ginger, lemon, honey in hot water to ease the soreness.

I totally agree! I am pregnant and living in southern indiana where we have no whole foods. Can you build one here please? LOL
Anyway, whenever we are in an area with a wholefoods I am in there stocking up on everything I need to fuel my natural/ healthy pregnancy.
We visited a Nashville store over the weekend and are glad to be stocked up again!

This video really makes so much sense! What you put topically on your skin absorbs into your body and from there any toxic ingredients or harmful ingredients can easily spread throughout your body and to your baby! I wish all this valuable and useful information had been available with my first 2 children but al least now I am becoming a more educated adult and will be much better prepared for my new baby! Thank you so much Whole Foods for making these wonderful videos to keep us informed about how to make the lives of our babies, our families and ourselves safe and healthy! You totaly Rock for this!

My niece is pg & I have bben buy her books on this subject! Thanks for all the wonderful.
Sound therapy is important too!
I bought the the Zenses Rainforset for Nintendo DS so she could use it to relax.
I also downloaded all the soundtracks for Rainfroset & Ocean Zenses for her!
I enjoy them myself too & it seems to calm the kids.
I love the info about things that go on the body can get into the body/bloodstream.
I completely agree!
I got her some orangic body lotion & bath scrub too.
Thanks

I did my best to go natural… even after!

Great advice! I am so thankful for prenatal vitamins, because I know that I don’t eat everything I should right now (currently pregnant). I took prenatals for at least a year before this pregnancy, because of infertility problems. But it’s always felt good – like I’m doing something for the baby, even before I was pregnant! Thanks so much!

Please go easy on the ginger. In high amounts it can be dangerous during pregnancy. Sip until you get relief for that nausea. If a cup doesn’t do it, be mindful to be careful. Try avoiding liquids while eating (i.e. drink your liquids 20-30 minutes before or after eating your meal). Don’t let your tummy get empty by eating more tiny meals. Happy babies to all!!!
