@Jean Our organic chickens are fed organic grain which are all non-GMO. We source non-GMO where possible for our non-organic chickens (antibiotic free, vegetarian diet), but cannot guarantee the grain for the non-organic chickens is non-GMO. Thank you.

Thanks for your answer.

B&E's customer service agents tell customers that the company's frozen entrees and snacks are made w/ chicken which has been fed only all-vegetable feed. For those of us who are trying to avoid the danger of prion diseases propagated when animals which do not normally eat each other are fed the parts of other animals, whether or not the feed contains, for instance, animal fat is important.

THERE IS NOTHING ON THE BOXES OF THESE PRODUCTS WHICH MAKES THE ALL-VEGETABLE FEED CLAIM. The difference between what is claimed orally and what is printed on the boxes has gone on for years. Why should we not conclude that the company is giving it customer service dept. misinformation in order to mislead customers? If they are proud of their all-vegetable fed birds, why don't they feel free to say so on the printed boxes? Does B&E actually get the chicken for the frozen products from the same sources as the chicken it markets fresh? Is the feed of the growers of chicken for the frozen products monitored at all or are the chickens only tested after slaughter for antibiotic residue?

Meanwhile, B&E's CEO, Scott Sechler, appears on YouTube endorsing the Nuwave Oven, saying, "The NuWave Oven is the oven of choice at Bell & Evans". What does that even mean? Bell & Evans doesn't cook its products in tiny home kitchen ovens. Can this company be trusted?

Thank you!!! I've just read an article in the PETA magazine regarding your switch from standard & extremely cruel method of chicken slaughter to controlled-astmosphere killing (CAK). I thank you for taking this revolutionary step & I hope other chicken suppliers in the US will follow your good example.

Thanks again

Hi Tom, I am a team member in the meat department at Whole Foods Market in NJ and customers ask me frequently about G.M.O and if It's in your Bell and Evan's chicken. I always tell them to go organic to be safe but it's just too expensive for most people so they settle for the All natural regular chicken which I usually buy also. I try to avoid G.M.O as much at possibly and so do most of my customers, so we would all like to know if your all natural non organic chicken is fed G.M.O. products. Thank you

Thank you TOM for giving us all that wonderfull information!!!
I'm 28 years old and I have been in the wholesale poultry business for 10 years along with my 3 brothers ( we are located in south jersey). I was wondering what information if any can you provide me with, in order for us to grow our business in the sense that we would like to grow our own poultry and slaughter it as well. We are looking for a small operation to start with or are looking to maybe purchase or buy into an already existing slaughterhouse because we have the volume in sales. any information would be usefull. once again THANK YOU TOM!!!!!!

Tried to find out if your stores sell the Bell & Evans chicken wings, but nothing on your site, except blurbs like this one, but enter bell& Evans in the search box, nothing. Bell & Evans Chiken wings, Nothing! This is not the first difficulty I have had w/ WFM. You talk customer service, but fail to deliver in many cases. I am not driving there (Sonoma,CA) to find out you don't have it. In the past, I have attempted to adress some concerns with Corporate, but the emails get diverted to the individual store, which is where the problem is, and the response is less than expected.

Wow - tenders and nuggets made with real, whole chicken breast! I don't bother with any other brands. These are AWESOME. (Even the gluten-free taste great!)
