About a week ago, I purchased a pound of your bulk trail mix with the trade name of “Go Take a Hike.” This mix contains pistachios. I’ve been eating it for a week with no ill effects so far. It would be great to have updated information about the pistachios in this mix. Thanks!

@D. Manfredi: If you have pistachios with a label from Setton Farms, including all “best before” dates, they should be returned to the store where you purchased them.

I bought 3 bags of 5lb Setton Farms Premium roasted and salted pistachio nuts. Best before 10/2009 UPC 3432501006. Are these being recalled and should I return them to the store? Thanks!

@Isabel: We are tracing the sourcing on the pistachios sold in bulk at our stores around the country and hope to have info on the blog later today. We have multiple suppliers for our different regions and we are checking on everything. Also, we are a decentralized company so checking with your local store directly may get you a quicker answer. @Tom Harris: Our Food Safety team has determined that the “Wonderful” brand of pistachios is packed by Paramount Farms and is not associated with this recall.
