The Whole Story blog is a great place to find value tips from The Whole Deal, the Value Guru and even from our customers sharing with one another. Well, we here at Whole Foods Market University (WFM-U) are joining the value conversation with our “Virtual Value Tour.” Originally created to help our Team Members better understand how to become more astute value shoppers in our stores, this short WFM-U course will also assist you in making smart, value-oriented choices the next time you visit Whole Foods Market.

I shop at Whole foods when I can catch a ride, unfortunately the closet store is too far for me. I love the “tofu by the sea” made at the Plantaion Store, I have looked for the recipe on line to no avail. Anyone ever attempted to recreate, or have the reciipe for this? Thanks in advance.

This does not look anything like the store in Silver Spring, MD but it does resemble the store I saw in Winston-Salem, NC when I was there.

Hi Melissa & Lauren, we announced the winner here: http://blog.wholefoodsmarket.com/2009/05/mothers-day-contest-winner-honorable-mentions/. It was a couple of days late because of the amazing response we got from folks that took us a while to go through.
Thanks for your patience!

I don’t download any programs, softwatre, applets or the like so you’ve alianated me. The only Social Utility that I subscribe to is face-to-face and live telephone. E-mail is a necessary evil.
I guess this leaves me oout of thr loop.

Hi Jim, Most all of our stores offer value tours, so if you’d prefer the direct human interaction, that’s the best option. Plus – it’s great way to get to know your local store and its staff.

Does Whole Foods do home delivery?

@Geri Hudson: Not all, but some of our urban stores do. Best to check with your local store: http://tr.im/allstore.
