Mercier Orchards – Blue Ridge, Georgia
Tim Mercier has been picking apples since he was seven years old on the North Georgia orchard where he was raised and now lives with his children and grandchildren. Tim and his crew hand-pick dozens of varieties of apples over 200 acres that will ship out to Whole Foods Market the very next day, making them the freshest bushels of apples available straight from the tree to the market.

My husband had business in Blue Ridge in late summer. We decided the whole family would go and after dropping him off the kids and I went to investigate the area. Our favorite place, Mercier Orchards, we loved their store, my daughter and I are gluten free, they had cider icies, it was so good and the staff was very kind in double checking that the icies were only fresh pressed cider. So when we walked into Harry’s for our weekly trip we recognized Mercier right away. Glad to see it.
Watch out, went to a different orchard last weekend and I wasn’t with my daughter when she got an icee. It had something added, she felt miserable and had stomach cramping the whole evening.
