I need, I crave, I need Shipyard Pumpkinhead. It is the only good, no GREAT Pumpkin Ale. You can actually taste the nutmeg and other spices. I am sad because I live in NY and I cannot find it anywhere.

I NEED IT !!!!!!!!!!!

I've tried them all, even brew my own pumpkin ale. But, my hands down favorite is Post Road Pumpkin Ale, brewed by the amazing Brooklyn Brewery.

southern tier pumpking is absolutely amazing... i found this at Bourbon Street Wine and Spirits in NJ (phillipsburg). They had an incredible selection of pumpkin beers. Smuttynose Pumpkin and Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin are also some of my favs!

I love all the ones you listed, but my favorite is the Buffalo Bill's - you get the true taste of the pumpkin and spices - truly like a piece of pumpkin pie! The person who wrote in the beer that's not listed - Southern Tier Pumpking - never heard of - where can you get these - where are they brewed?

I wait anxiously every August for the pumpkin ales to come out. I've tried just about every beer mentioned here, plus more...Dogfish Head is by far my favorite. HIGHLY recommended, especially for those who like a hearty brew.
