Purchasing whole trade products means that we are providing an income for otherwise deprived communities. These funds enable women to feed, clothe, educate, and support their families in geographical regions which would not traditionally allow women to have job opportunities. These empowered women in turn become role models and leaders in their respective communities where change can become a generative and synergistic process.

My favorite thing about whole trade products is that I do not have to worry that when I want to buy something, I am not contributing to bad working conditions and underpaid workers. Keep up the good work!

It is very important to have a fair trade policy with less fortunate countries, as the U.S. Having a job, and income promotes self esteem, of the individual and also necessary to make a living and having the money to live.

Buying whole trade products is a triple play. By buying these wonderful products, we help families who truly benefit from their work while having a positive impact on the environment!

i believe in buying whole trade products for a few reasons. it ensures that the workers that labor for hours and hours on end are treated like humans and not like chattle. second, it gives me a sense of pride to know that, although i spend more money, that money is going to the greater good of humanity. it's not just me buying food for myself, but that money i spent buying coffee or my favorite produce, but allows others to provide for their families in less profitable nations. lastly, the quality of the products found in whole foods stores far surpasses the other stores and i wouldn't, nor do i, shop anywhere else!

The world gets smaller and your neighbors from afar get closer. Helping people who are working hard to provide us natural products is the only logical step for all of us. Thank you WF for your push to provide fair and healthy work conditions for the true workers of the world.

Knowing where the products I use (and the food I eat) come from is really important to me. I'd like to know who makes them and where they are. Local is better and preferable. But for some things, that's impossible. So, for products that come from afar, I want to know that the producers, growers, and all the other people involved in the process are treated fairly, that there aren't toxic substances involved, and that the production is sustainable. If Whole Trade Products live up to these simple, basic requirements, then I'll be glad to purchase them.
