Ok, so this is an old post, but I just had to share a delicious peanut butter involved recipe. So growing up my mother gave my sister and I all sorts interesting foods to try, but this is by far the oddest AND most delicious. A grilled cheese with bacon and peanut butter. Now before you yak just give the idea a chance. Use your favorite bread, favorite cheese, and if you dont eat meat you can omit the pork (but its best with bacon as is all things). Pick your favorite peanut butter and just put a thin layer over one slice of bread, place crisp bacon on the peanut butter, and then 2 slices of cheese. Grill. Pull from heat when the cheese and peanut butter have fused into a wonderful gooey celebration of life. Slice and pull apart just enough to show off the sticky tendrals. Enjoy. Please try this before you discard it. YUM

Oh My! I was a very picky eater as a child and grew up on peanut butter with honey, jam or banana sandwiches. I still eat peanut butter all the time. I especially like using it in curry. However, I admit to being a bit of a weirdo. Someone once introduced me to bacon & peanut butter sandwiches. Sounds strange to most folks - but they are awesome!!

I think I missed the deadline, but just had to share my Dad's passion for Peanut Butter and sweet pickle relish sandwiches that he learned to enjoy while a sailor in WWII. Its a great flavor if you are brave enough to try it!

His second favorite was Peanut Butter and brown sugar on whole wheat bread, which I see others have mentioned.

When it comes to decadent pleasures, I count these two treats come in rated very high in my book!

Wow, besides a great dip for fruit & veggies, I think I would try to vegan-ize my mother-in-law's recipe for peanut butter cake.

William (Bill) is 83 years old and when we married (second time for both of us. Our mates both died of cancer.) when I asked what's your lunch look like, he replied, "Two slices wheat bread, 2/3 of it for cheese spread -- the other third for my peanut butter. Then seven baby carrots... Oh, and one half of an apple"
I replied, "Seven carrots? Not eight or six? Seven? And you have peanut butter everyday?!"
"Every day of my life! Peanut butter is food fit for the gods!"
I had no quarrel with him. He looks and acts like a healthy and happy 50 year old and he takes no medicines! Although white, he still has almost all his hair. He always tells his doctor during his yearly checkups, "I tell you,it's the peanut butter! It's food fit for the gods!"

A whole case of organic peanut butter, means never saying please make me a peanut butter sandwich. I only can imagine how I would use all this peanut butter, it's healthy tasty and all around yum factor.
