For over 60 years, Goodnight Brothers has been curing country hams in the cool crisp air of North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains. Through a new partnership with Whole Foods Market and the North Carolina Natural Hog Growers Association, Bill Goodnight is producing traditionally dry cured Carolina Country Ham using fresh hams and pork bellies from local Global Animal Partnership Step 4-rated pig farms. Available in our North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama stores.

Thank you both WFM and Mr Goodnight and your hams. I hope that you are feeding these pigs NON-GMO feed ONLY as that is our greatest concern. We have been known to test our food from time to time to ensure there are no traces of GMO products in them/ To date, we have found none in the food we purchase from Whole Foods or Trader Joes. we spend about $1500 a month from Whole Foods and another $500 a month at Trader Joes. About a third of this goes into our long time food storage. I am in the Human Resource field and I recruit for my wifes business all the time. I have brought these skills to the table when convincing friends family and acquaintances when it comes to getting them to stop buying the poison food supply that makes up 90% of the product on the shelves at the regular grocery stores. I am extremely adamant about educating everyone about WFM and where they get their products from so please continue to post these type of articles on your website. The more I am educated about where your product is coming from then the more I can educate others.Make no mistake about it, this is a movement as well as a of life. Sincerely, Lance Ferguson Omaha, Nebraska formerly of Ventura, Ca

I like the fact that the pigs are raised humanely and I only purchase meat that way when I do,but I also like to know that they are not treated badly when going to slaughter.Im curious as to how that is done and if it is quick and humane.I appreciate farms with compassion and hope that the farms that dont practice humane treatment of ALL animals will get on board. Thanks so much
