During Earth Month, and really every month for that matter, it’s all about reduce, reuse, recycle! While I am totally behind figuring out how to reduce waste by going reusable (I recently found a super-cute, washable fabric wrap for my kiddo’s sandwiches) there are times when I just need to use something that’s disposable. Um, a trash bag comes to mind. So, when that’s the case, I prefer to look for items that a) are made from recycled content, b) do not whiten with chlorine bleach, c) use conscientious packaging or d) work well. It’s even better when I find a product that has more than one of these features and is competitively priced.
That’s why this line-up of household products from our exclusive 365 Everyday Value® and Green Mission™ brands is really good news. I get lots of choices that meet many of my criteria but won’t break my budget.

Are your trash bags biodegradable? I hate throwing things away, especially since I know they are basically trapped in plastic garbage bags with no hope of breaking down. With a biodegradable bag, items could begin the slow decomposition process sooner.

@Linda Thanks for your support! There are several reasons that a product might not be reordered at Whole Foods Market (supplier discontinue, a better product is available, etc). For the best way to get the most accurate, complete information about this product I encourage you to reach out to your community’s Whole Foods Market directly. I’ve included the link to locate your store’s contact information. They will be happy to let you know if the product is on back order or even if it can be special ordered for you. Happy waxy wrappy, Linda.

are the 365 wax paper and parchment papers completely natural products?
October 10th, 2011 at 12:33 pm
@Elgi Thanks for asking. The term natural means a lot of things to a lot of different people. Hopefully this response answers your question in the most complete and satisfying fashion. Our 365 wax paper and parchment papers contain no chemicals or additives other than the silicon coating for the wax paper. Like all our products, these papers contain no preservatives. Happy shopping!

I am very unhappy with the Green Mission toilet tissue. It’s all cardboard core and plastic wrapping. Almost no tissue. Waste of resources.
