12 Easy Fish Feasts

By Molly Siegler, February 19, 2013  |  Meet the Blogger  |  More Posts by Molly Siegler

Friday fish feasts may be common practice for observers of the Lenten season, but they’ve also become popular among diverse households as a delicious way to dive into the weekend. (This is a fascinating look at the history of fish-on-Fridays.)

Fish fries, fish boils, fish tacos – all are fair game, and as a recently relocated Wisconsinite, this is a tradition I relished on the shores of Lake Superior.

Here are twelve easy recipes to expand your fish-dish repertoire. Remember, the fish options at Whole Foods Market® stores have been responsibly farmed or wild-caught and certified by the Marine Stewardship Council or color-coded with sustainability ratings, making selection a breeze.

Salmon with Tomato-Olive Topping Roasted Fish and Veggies with Quinoa and Pine Nuts

Cornmeal-Crusted Halibut Sandwich with Creamy Coleslaw Lemon Tarragon Smoked Salmon Spread

Cajun Rainbow Trout Baked Breaded Cod

Coconut Crusted Haddoc with Curried Pumpkin Seeds Spice-Crusted Roast Salmon with Ginger Beets

Italian Chowder with Cod and Kale

Citrus Sole Packets Broiled Fish with Shiitake Red Rice Pilaf

Do you have any go-to fish preparations? What’s one fish everyone in the family enjoys?
