
The early autumn weather here in Austin has been gorgeous and I’ve loved being able to hang out outside and prep my fall garden. In addition to my usual vegetable beds, I’ve decided to experiment with some lily bulbs.

Mother’s Day is almost here (it’s Sunday, May 13th).
Go ahead, procrastinate. You can run into the corner store and grab some flowers for mom at the last minute. She’ll appreciate them and, hey, it’s the thought that counts, right?


I don’t know if there is anything I look forward to more than the flowers of February.
