I’m as interested in the people who shop at Whole Foods Market as the products available here, and fascinated with the many facets of food. Just think about where our food comes from, the many hands that make it possible for it to grace our tables, how food connects us to the earth, how it touches every one of our senses, the endless possibilities for combining flavors, its cultural significances, and how it draws people together in homes, communities and internationally!
I joined the Whole Foods Market Naperville Store Team when we opened in 2008, after working as a Customer Service Team Member and Concierge at our Willowbrook, Illinois store. I grew up in California’s San Joaquin Valley and started shopping at Whole Foods Market to be surrounded by the beautiful, quality food produced in that come from that area. I love the culture, diversity, teamwork and causes that are celebrated here at Whole Foods Market, and constantly learn new things. I love supporting local producers, Green Mission, the Whole Planet Foundation and the Whole Kids Foundation everyday while I work and shop. In my spare time I like to cook (very simply-thanks, Prepared Foods!), write poetry and prose, spend time with family and friends, listen to jazz and blues, read, garden, and paint. <!--break--> Look for me next time you’re shopping!
